Why did I make SYTYCD icons?

So I DID get to post today! :P

Sort of a random post... Like I said before, some of it has been sitting around waiting to be posted for a while... I have a lot of icontest/LIMS stuff, which is funny considering probably 75% of it never got entered, because I never had time to enter it :P Also, some Memoirs of a Geisha and Chicago icons, some random Harry Potter icons, and for some new random obsession love, a few from the last season of So You Think You Can Dance.. And I swear its not completely my fault they're like 95% of Neil.. Thats pretty much all I could find of the people/dances that I liked, but he was my favorite for the season, so I guess it's partially my fault :P

I decided to try posting these a little different. They seemed too jumbled together and unordered in the last few posts, so I decided to put the icons each in their own boxes based on the movie/show or whatever, so its a little easier to navigate.. I'll see how well it works :P

Just so everyone knows, this post almost made me insane, lol. Photobuckets been really bitchy with me lately, so all of these got uploaded really randomly, and were scattered around my folder pretty badly, so it took me twice as long as usual to do this.. Not to mention I had to go waaaay back to make sure I got all my disney LIMS entries :P

Rules For Borrowing:

- Comments aren't required, but they are appreciated. I like to know what everyone likes.

sorry, i don't have a livejournal, hence the anonymous post. i stumbled upon your icons and LOVE THEM...first of all, i'm a huge hp fan, and these are some of my favorites because you used mary grandpre's art. also, the so you think you can dance ones are awesome, especially the ones with neil because he goes to my school and it's awesome! yay neil! and i love mulan, especially the grandma! good work!

Thank you :) Yep, some I colored everything in w/ a really small brush individually, and some I just got lazy and put a gradient or a light texture over them :P

Not the biggest fan of some of these movies/shows but what you did with the icons is just beautiful. The colours and textures are perfect.

Snagged #10, but they were all very lovely! Espeically the Harry Potter ones!

Though I am curious, since I've seen colourized versions of the Mary GrandPré artwork for the seventh book before... did you colour them yourself or were there already colourized ones that you just took? I've only seen them for the seventh book and I'm so confused. *dies*

I did all the coloring myself.. I got the black and white versions.. It's just more fun in my opinion to pick what the colors are myself lol :P Thank you :)

Wow, excellent job!!

Taking a few LotR and Memoirs of a Geisha.

Just thought I'd point out for number 24 of the Disney set, it's 'dynasty' not 'dynast day'. Sorry, I'm a movie quote pirate and perfectionist >.>

Nevertheless, awesome work on these, will credit =)
